Oh the weather outside is frightful....

Just a reminder... please call the Library before coming when the weather is bad.  We may be closed, or closing early, and don't want you to make an unnecessary trip.  Due dates will be extended to the next day we're open, and no fines are charged for days we are closed.

You can also renew most books and movies by phone if you cannot make it to the Library for any reason.  (We are unable to renew some interlibrary loan items or items that have been reserved by another patron.)

So be safe... stay home when the roads are bad or if you're not feeling well.

And yes, we ARE CLOSED today, Wednesday, December 9, 2009.

The Lowdown on Downloadable Audios

The New Hampshire Downloadable Audio Book Consortium is now offering select titles in MP3 format from Overdrive. These MP3 files are compatible with iPods and Mac computers, as well as PCs and other players. Please see nh.lib.overdrive.com for additional details.

Also new to the Audio deal: Ratings! You can now sign in and rate audios you've downloaded. Once a sufficient number of ratings have been posted, users will be able to search by ratings... so please consider rating those titles you've already listened to.

Now that the weather is improving, you can listen to a book while you walk or do yard work.
